Price seems a little high?

not a bad price really when you figure the cost of a 930 trans and then haveing the work done it acan easly add up to that or morei have a 914 i put a nls1 in and have looked at all transmission options seems 8 to 12 thousand is what it takes to get a box that is strong and geared right for a v8

i run a shortbell 930 in my 71 conversion with an all aluminum dart 434 cuboc inch sbc roller motor. gearing is good and i dont worry about quick starts. i would never consider a 915 even if beefed up for serious horsepower. 70 mph in fourth gear is 2200 rpms with the 930 gearing.

With a v8 and torque on demand 930 gearing is great.... It's not so dissimilar to a sbc with a munsey 4spd, with 4.11's out back....
