Show your gauges on you swaps
 
Hey guys just want to know what and where you are placing your gauges. Here is what I did. looking for a spot now for oil pressure and water temp. I am using factory Tach

I removed my ashtray and used the space to mount a two-hole gauge panel for some 2-1/16" gauges. The current oil temp/pressure gauge you have will take the signals from some "common" VDO senders (you don't have to use the Porsche stuff). You'll have to look up the types of the original sender units for those gauges and then cross-reference to alternates.

this is the dash of my v8 austin healey...just redid it a while back. and, i used speedhut gauges...very pleased with the gps speedometer and the blue led backlighting. might have used these on the porsche but was unaware of speedhut at that time! they are available in many combos of faces, colors, rings, numerals, etc.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1432907839.jpg
