914 5 speed into a Karma Ghia?
 
How hard would it be to install a 5 speed from a 914 into my brothers Karma Ghia?

Anyone ever do something similar?

I've seen it done, but it's a bear... You'd be better of getting a Berg 5 kit from Gene Berg. Customize your gearing too... Find a reputable builder to build it, unless you are good with wrenches, and have all the fixturing...

use a 901 out of a 911, it'll be much easier, I've made the swap on my beetle, was really strait forward.
