Boxster s trans in an LS 911?
Hey guys! Anyone do a boxster s trans in an LS 911 swap ?
I have an LS 914, and a boxster trans for it(Not installed yet) but it is a proven swap. Thinking a cable shifted 6 speed would be pretty nice in a LS powered 911.. |

Depends upon how much you like backing up.
Because the engine in the Boxster faces the other direction, it turns in the opposite direction. So a Boxster trans in a 911 would give six reverse speeds, and one forward...............

Not sure about the 914 with a boxster trans. I know that Renagade Hybrids did a 914LS with a 6 speed . I am in the process of installing a 996 LSD
trans in my 911 LS swap. Everything went well with install but with many mods, still so far all good. Just wasn't very confident with the 915 trans with so much torque.
