I would be very surprised if it hits mid $200s on the up & coming auction.

I am using inflation adjusted numbers.
$12,500 in 1977 is $52,750 today.
1977 issue of Hemmings.
Today, the same car would not sell for $52k.
In other words, Model A prices have tanked in the last 3 decades.
But yea, they ain't making any more of 'em!

That is a rough day.... people hate adjusting for inflation, it ruins everyone's fun.

At least your MLP cars are sure to be sporting tails; nothing worse than a tailless 911 (especially if that bisch is a Barbie Dream Car)!

And like I mentioned that car was massively overvalued. I donít like it either but the truth is nice desirable Chevelles have increased in value since 2010. Along with almost every other older sporting car out there. The garbage cars are still garbage. Your anecdotes fail to tell the whole story.

How true. I recall when this car was offered to a friend of mine back in 2006 for $750k. He laughed at it and felt it wasn't worth half that and didn't see any potential upside, never mind what it eventually sold for. Just shows you how easily a fool is parted from his money.
