I would only buy a 911 that was not messed with. I think cars backdated and deleted parts will have their value hurt in the future.

that middie backdate is the bomb. The 964 backdates, while very nice, always look a bit heavy and out of proportion, to my eye.

How about an update conversely. My 89' ROW Carrera by VIN isn't that heavy except it's a cab. Ruf did it with full engine conversion BTR III and R50-50 6 speed and then went 964 turbo body look in yellow. Just don't call me a yellow belly.
