You see that single 935 Speedline in collectibles? He started at $2500 and now down to $1400. Can’t give it away.

Here is some stupidity over Mikuni PHH carbs. Up until a couple of years ago you could get a set of triples and a manifold for 2K.

No matter what the year, I'm still sticking to the law of contrary public opinion - I never liked BBS wheels on Porsches - even in the '80s. I still think they are flash-trash and pretty much all the guidos from Jersey who hit it big back East with their soft-serve "yogurt" shops put them on their slope-nose 930s in the late '80s. Good for that guy though. Good for him getting that money.

We always pronounced "Gotti" as "Gaudy"

As in "Hey, bro are those gaudy wheels on your P-car?" The owner would beam and say "Hell yeah!!" |

Based on Sal’s description, I’m just gonna say out in Cali, BBS on a 930 was a very different sort of dude.

BBS style hubcaps on minivans was the final nail. Unfortunately, Porsche did use BBS for some of their competition cars, so they look good that way. BBS wheels, for street cars, even a 930 not so much. Same for Gotti's on skinny bodied Porsches, for both styles of wheels. To me any car using these 12-13 inch rear wheels should have at least 500 hp to match the look. And 345 tires for the 15 inch BBS or Gotti's at over $1100 each & not always available is another thing.
