If you are asking why am I selling the car… I tend to get a different car every few years. I like the change and it’s like a hobby. Expensive one, but very rewarding as well as I get to experience and learn about different cars and enjoy them.
This car is amazing. With everything done to it, it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. With the engine done and the suspension dialed in, It handles like a dream. The 6 speed manual transmission lets you enjoy the car the way it was meant to be. Shifting in higher RPMs, especially over 5,000 the exhaust note changes and the car just keeps pulling.
Over $130,000 Invested with pre-covid prices. I negotiated the prices as well so I got better deals. Not maintenance, but in highly researched, thought over aftermarket parts. Have most of the receipts, only missing the ones I paid in cash. Car comes with a custom cover, original sound system in a box and an extra brand new front valance in a box as well.
I acquired the car at the end of 2017 with 65,009 miles. Decided to add a proper GT3 Front Bumper with the GT3 OEM Mesh screens and GT3 Front bumper parts by Wicked Motorsports with updated 997.2 LED parking light package in the front bumper and fully functioning headlight washers. The taillights were later updated to LED as well. Since they are a very high end shop and their quality is superior, I asked them to make sure the paint matches exactly. Since I’m very detail oriented and have very high expectations, I was told it can only match 100% if it’s the same paint. Go and figure. I asked them to repaint the entire car while fitting and painting the GT3 front bumper. It was repainted in the original color of the car. Car also has a full carbon fiber rear wing installed.
The driver seat had a small rip and since the color of the newly installed leather wouldn’t match, I’d the full interior reupholstered in its original terracotta leather minus the dash, steering wheel and the hand brake.
Next followed the suspension and the engine built by Dwain - Vision Motorsports. The engine is a fully built 4.0 using the original block - so it’s still all numbers matching. Much research went into who should build the engine for this car. It was fitted with the performance clutch/fly wheel and a 3rd center radiator was added.
Engine:
Mildly tuned at RW 331.19hp & 291.99torque - I asked for a mild reliable tune. It can be tuned to way more hp and more tq if desired.
