whats the trick on whale tail shocks
trying to do the 4 shocks on the whale tail . I can compress the chrome ones but the black ones are a mother. any suggestions so I dont mess anything up.

I think you're in the wrong section. No matter....
YOu should not be able to compress the shocks since you want the pressure. Mount the bases at the lid, then lift it up as much as you can to get the firewall pin through. I use my head or a prop rod to do this. They should be the right length and need no compression.

i GOT IT THE PREVIOUS OWNER GOT FRONT HOOD SHOCKS FOR THE REAR.
