Is this `87 worth $45k?

Nice low miles car but, I don't see anything that makes it worth 45k and the bidding is still going.

ultra low mile pristine stock example..yea it is to someone looking for one and apparently several folks are interested. here is another data point..higher miles and it is still with sloan but still teh asking price sort of reflects what someone may need to pay if they really want it.

I guess it is to someone, gotta be a collector, though, that kind of car is "too nice to drive.".

Although, there was this legendary "bubble car", a mint E30 M3 that someone paid up for a few years ago, and the buyer promptly modded the hell out of the car for track use.

I wouldn't be surprised if it hits 60k. Lots of rich people looking for low mile 1984-89's.

Collectable? The price is nutzoid crazy IMO. We realists (in the know) would value it at $20 - 25k max. The car is what it is. What was the final bid?
