CE values
What's current market value for an '88 CE? I saw one with 80,XXX and the owner is asking 30K. I think that is about 4-5K too high to even ask.
I have seen a couple 930s in great condition, same or less mileage, asking 30-35. i would rather spend the extra 5K for the turbo. Plus, a black 89 anniversary ed. with 30,000 miles went for around 28-29K a few months ago. Prior to that, another '89 AE went for 25K. I believe it had below 60K miles. A pelican also just sold his G50 carrera, 92,XXX miles, interior fully redone, top end job completed at 8X,XXX, web cams and wong chip, and full records. I think he got asking price of 24.5. I think that car is much better value. Am I wrong thinking 30K is outrageous? |

I have a CE and while it is a nice package it is jut that, an option package. It shouldn't command a huge premium over a non-CE car so condition is king as for any 911. There was a CE on Rennlist with 180K for $15K I think and I have seen mint garage queens with low mialege going at the price range you are looking at. For $30K there are plenty of options out there and as with any post refering to the CE owners will chime in shorlty.
