So what's wrong with this one?

It 'looks' like a neat car, but too far from me to seriously consider. It would seem to be a decent deal for someone looking for a modified early car.

Am I missing something?

wow! There were zero bids with a minute to go and then two bidders jumped in with a winning bid of $20.1K. Nice car and color.

If the suspension and mechanicals were in decent shape, seems like a decent buy. You would be hard pressed to build it yourself for less, even if you got the tub for free.
