Sad

Not like this was ever even close to a concourse car, but it was a neat hot rod that gained some attention several years ago and was even featured in Excellence magazine. Christian left the Porsche scene and the car obviously fell in to uncaring hands. I remember when the Paterek's were helping him with the body work and he thought it looked cool in primer so he left it that way.

concours, not concourse. A concourse is an architectural term. Look it up.

I checked this car our when it was owned by Garibaldi, the then PCA 930 Tech Adviser, parked at the 2000 Tech Session's hotel parking ramp. This car was (is?) a piece of junk. I can not believe this car was ever featured in Excellence. It needed everything, the interior was trashed, dented/patched/botched body panels, the underside of the engine was a combination of rusting pipes and oil leaks.
Sorry to be so harsh, but even buying this car for 12 grand is a very risky affair. It needed everything.

I'm sure the new owner, if he or she is reading this, is absolutely thrilled with such a detailed history of the car. I wonder what the car would'a brung with all that info. LOL

Im really surprised that thats what came of that car. I thought for sure someone would have given it a good paint job, cleaned it up and made it into a bad ass track car. Not let it rot to hell somewhere in the boonies. ha! well its not my problem
Yep, more smiles per mile than any other car I can think of. Well, except for a Dauer 962 or a McClaren F1. But I'm just speculating there.

Your proud of doing 150 on a public road? Or blasting around at 120 on freeways? When you kill yourself no one will shed a tear and when you kill someone else I hope the lock you up for a long time.

are you sure thats not a vagina? LOL c'mon lighten up for crying out loud, those stories were form almost 10 years ago and I was in my early 20s. Not saying what I did was smart, but would you really expect much less from a 23 year old kid in a 400 hp 930 turbo? If it makes you feel any better I now drive a Jeep Wrangler which has got to be the slowest POS Ive ever owned, so you can consider yourself safe.

Good thing I didnt touch on how Ive tried drugs and had premarital sex.

I dont give a crap about what you do to yourself, I have no issues with drugs or who you bang. The simple fact is doing 150mph on public roads is friggin stupid. You can have the last word since there is really no excuse.

Actually yes there is, If I didnt have a short ring and pinion in the car, I probably would have been going a bit faster.

Seriously, get over yourself. If it makes you feel like your the big mature straightlaced guy to point out the obvious, then go right ahead, I was just sharing some of the fun stories I had back when I owned the car, thought it would be taken in the right light. You can all go back to discussing your synthetic oils, check engine lights, and correct lug nut tightening procedures.
