I bought both, one was a 73.5 targa out of Kansas for 13.5 that was underpriced, the other was on Craigslist Philly and went for 18.5. Here is a shot of the philly car.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1273626797.jpg

I would like to see detailed photos of both your cars to compare against the white car, what year did you buy them? numbers matching? I'm not saying it doesn't happen but it doesn't happen everyday. Besides some people can recognize a good car but it takes a great eye and experience to recognized a great car. So lets see photos of yours.

I would also say that finding a good deal (or two) doesn't define the market. I paid $1000 for my old 1970 911t and wouldn't claim that price was market on the car. That was at a time when the market on the car was closer to $10,000.

Thanks to all, I have listed my car for sale or trade in the "For Sale" section. If it sells good, if I can make a trade for what I want even better.

Great news on the car being sold! It shows how a great car will sell quickly when nothing is hidden and priced fairly! Good luck in your new search.

Good job vonsmog. I am getting more and more sure that I am going the same route with my '68. I am going to clean it up a little bit and put it on a lift over the coming weekend for pictures. It's just not the right car to tear up and hot rod. I would feel like a P-car sinner...
