What should i pay for a 356 cabriolet basket case?

while looking at warehouse space today i came across a 356 cabrolet basket case dissembled for restoration but never completed engine numbers appear to be correct to the car has rust in the floor pan and passenger rocker needs complete restoration if i dont buy the building i would still like to make an offer on the car what should i pay for it? carzz@sbcglobal.net is it worth $15k?

1958 356a needs paint , floors and interior work comes with original engine out needs rebuild does $16.5k sound reasonable?

Sounds very reasonable, a real 1958 356A cab in good restored shape can go for 75k easy.

Yeah. That seems like a decent buy in price. $40-50K in restoration work and it will be a $75-90K car. It just depends on how much is actually there and how far gone it really is.

the owner turned down my $15k offer he thinks its worth $25 it needs alot of work but the engine appears to be the original
