nice car!

first thought is CL scam, especially with "floor bords" "barn" "30 years" in listing. (Sorry kevtow!)
And HI car with so little rust (are there even "barns" on the big island?)
the foliage in the photo sort of looks like the big island, but need more detective work!

At least it is a phone number of a real person with a real business in Hawaii!

Seller should post on 914world and buyer should ask on 914world.com for a local to check it for you. Also 914club.com
If I didn't have a softy I would have a better driving 914 - you could get it running and drive it as is.
I have seen a flat rate for shipping to California at $1080

comp?
Rough Matching # 914-6!!!

That car has been posted for sale here previously, I think about a year ago. I wouldn't pay more than $4000 for it. Then it's going to need $20-30k in work to make it right.

That's if you do a lot of the work yourself, I think.

Restorations are $$$$$$.

Like the vast majority of members here,I don't do checkbook restorations. This is primarily a DIY community where people only sub out what is way over their head. However, you are correct, if you wanted to just ship it off to Porsche themselves and have them restore it, it would run you 6 figures. Same thing if you just paid one of the top guys in NA to do it for you. But what's the point of a project car if you don't need to get at least a tetanus shot?
