Help pricing my Fuchs
Hi -
I am hoping to take delivery of a set of Kodiaks soon and am debating selling the Fuchs on the car. My 911 SC is currently wearing 16x8 fronts with Stratton widened 16x10.5 rears. The fronts fit under the turbo fenders nicely with no spacers and rears have a 21mm spacer behind them. All wheels have been refinished with a polished lip and black centers. There is a tiny amount of curb rash on one of the back wheels. The tires on them are decent with maybe 3-4k miles left on them (pending on driving habits). So what do you think they're worth? I'm debating keeping them solely because the seem rare and replacing them down the line would be difficult. Thoughts? -Scott |

Scott man your Fuchs are BUTT, ill take em off your hands for free.
Just kidding, if i were you id keep em. Modified/widened original Fuchs can be real $$$. Just look at Lindsey Fuchs or zuffenhaus/fikse. |

Horrible metaphor but you get the idea. |
I'd keep them. They are a major component of the iconic look. Would help pricing if you decide to sell the car in the future.

They look really good.
Your 8s alone are worth about $1400 for the pair. They only problem with the rears is tire selection, so you have a limited audience who will buy them with the hope of being able to find tires when these wear out in a year or two. What tires are you running now? You can still get RE11s in 245 and the Kumho's in 265, which have a slightly tall sidewall, though the 10.5s might help that. I would start at $2800 for the set. |

A few months ago I sold a pair with very minor curbing for $1200. I see them on Classifieds for north of that, and selling. |
Looks like 951 8s up front.

Turns out they are 911 16x8s. PN stamped on the back is 911.361.020 45 which aligns with a 10.6 mm offset.
Thinking about listing them for $1200 with tires plus shipping. Thoughts? http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3709/1...94d4d46b_b.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3805/1...8287d03d_b.jpg |

Lighting was weird, sorry. $1200 all day long. They look in great shape. Have them on my 84 in the back. You'll get that price.
