Do you really want to sell, or do you just want to annoy real buyers!!!
Why the F would somebody list a car for sale, not give a phone number, which already bugs me, and then not answer an email?!?
This happens to me with at least every other car. Then the ones that do reply, seldom give you their number, even if you ask for it in every email you send! And I give them my number to call me, and, you guessed it... They don't! Anyway, I'm done venting. Some of these sellers (if they are in fact sellers, and/or real) just p me off! It's the game. There is an art to selling and most people don't know that.

Maybe he is just "testing the waters".
I swear, a quarter of the ads on my local craigslist have that phrase chucked in there. So irritating.

Some of the e-mail problem could be that they are getting caught by a spam filter, and are never seen by the person who placed the ad, unless they go look. on one car, I e-mailed a guy from three different accounts before he was able to finally 'see' my e-mail.

All good points...
And is like to add that I don't think they are scams either. I don't get the "can't call 'cause I'm on a offshore drilling platform", "dormant Paypal", or any replies that refer to me as "dear", or asking " can I trust you". |
