It's a little bit more rarer then all of the rest because of the bigger breaks. Do your research.

I don't have to research anything because I'm not looking to buy it. Just saw it while surfing CL and thought I'd throw it up here in case someone was interested.

Apparently he doesn't want serious buyers contacting him either.

That is funny! That ad is so poorly written; I didn't even read it in detail at first. Was too busy looking at the pictures.
@ metzger: I didn't realize you were just quoting the moronic tone of the seller and thought your comment was directed at me. My apologies for snapping back the way I did.

A couple years ago there was a group out of Texas doing scam ads. They were getting local cells where they listed the cars.

Original "orange" car.

Part of the fuel injection system appears to be there, but the mice have built a small rodent city there.

The ad is just craigslicious enough to maybe be real. You would think a scammer would have been more subtle and sophisticated in making a squirrelly ad.

Fully restored longhood S models -- especially orange ones - are selling for what? A half a trillion dollars or so?

I would guess the guy is going to get inundated with calls…and emails from the "seriously buyers." Assuming you are savvy enough to not pay via Western Union, and you are within driving distance, it might be a fun trip. If he won't show the car, you will know the deal.

Maybe it is the proverbial barn find. If so someone may get a decent deal on a real S.

Haha no problem. Worth looking into even if the guy is illiterate.

Jon is too shrewd to sell one of his cars to a flipper. And he's quite literate.
