Pros and cons of Performance chips?
Curious about everyones experiences with adding performance chips to their older 911s? I have an 86 Carrera and was thinking about getting a Steve Wong chip and also an SSI exhaust system but maybe later in the year after i have saved a bit more. Is it better to do both of those at once or is there a noticable performance boost with just the chip? Any long term down sides to using something like this? Just curious, thanks!

I have both. Nice improvement on power through the whole band but really comes on at 4k and above. Well worth the money.
