Thoughts on the value of the 996 gt2?
I'm just wondering what a fair price is for a 996-gt2. I have a lead on one for $80k with 50k-miles. Thoughts?
Also, anyone know a good shop to get a ppi in north-west Houston? |
That seems to be the low end of the asking price range, currently. Many variables, but $80K gives you a lot of car for the money.
IMO, they are a good bet for holding or increasing value in the medium term. |
Thanks for the input Tech, do you know any good shops in the Houston area that could do a PPI?
|
I sure don't. Check on Rennlist in the Turbo forum...

Try Driver Source. That's Steve Ott's shop.

that seems on the lower end, is it all original or is it modified? how ever all 996s generation cars seem to still be falling in price, I would have thought that they hit the price bottom back while we were in the middle of the recession, but they never really rebounded.
as for PPI why not have a local dealer do it? |
If that one falls through my personal 2002 cobalt blue gt2 is for sale. Rick@weekendrides.com

$80k is low mileage cars.

I had a hard time finding comps out there when I decided to list this one: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/847636-2003-996-gt2-1-only-90-produced-2003-a.html
I decided to put what I deemed a fair price on it and see what happens. |
