My appologies. It's an 84 928s. It's gold. Clean straight 40k miles . 6 litre engine.

Pulling my leg, buddy? No such thing as a 6L unless it has been modded and in that case it will never be 28k no matter the mls.

Two very nice original 78 manual cars sold yesterday for 18k and 21k. Still a bargsin compared to similar SCs, imo.

Is the S4 manual?

Gold? Pdiddy car?

A pristine very very low mls might be worth up to 40k. From your info the car sounds like a 5-10k car.

Pics and more info will help if you want a serious valuation.

Cheers,

Christian

Thanks for input
Everyone says he's a liar about the 6litre. They took it to the Porsche dealer. It has a factory 6 litre engine.

Probably not a liar - Just an idiot.

Might be modded or a factory chevy 6l.....or what you call those chunks of metal outside the metric system

A picture of the car, including the engine bay, would help this inquiry. Otherwise, GIGO.

Problem is, your friend is confusing the color gold for the real thing.

Last year, this car (and I bet it's an automatic), with the regular 4.6, with the regular USA package equaled maybe $5K meaning that it's not gold, so don't expect to get gold for it.

Christian is right. $5k-$10K, and if $10K I would take $5K off just because he's a clown that says he has the most elusive,never-yet-seen or heard, very rare, Ferry Porsche birthday model with the 6 Liter motor.

The peanut gallery is in full vicious mode tonight.

Anyway, most likely it's a 4.7 liter. Pictures will help greatly, you also want to get a PPI from a 928 expert, not an air-cooled amateur.

Checking the Hagerty website, they're saying a Condition 1 can fetch $30,000. My estimate is $8,000 to $12,000 in real life.

Peanut Gallery......Is that meant as an offense to me? If so I recommend that you comment on the car, not on weather or not you like how other posters expresses themselves, Hugo!

Brian, looking forward to see if the pictures will confirm my suspicion.
