Fuchs value

Hello,

looking to determine the value for a clean set of 7 & 9 x 16" fuchs.

Thanks!

7x16 - $500 maybe $600.

9x16 - $2500 - 3500

I would say that year is going to matter on the 7s. I've got a set with a pro date from 77 which means they are genuine 930 ones. That's a different wheel than a 1984 3.2 Carrera wheel. I'm not really on top of the market but I suspect the older 930 ones might be worth 2-3 time what the later ones would bring. Though it is one of those "to the right guy" things. You need a 930 missing its shoes to get all the money.

Matt, can you clarify what the difference is between a genuine 930 7" fuchs
and the later 3.2 Carrera 7" fuchs?

I assumed that any 7" or 8" fuch would have comparable quality and specs,
and would like more information..

Thanks

It's all about the pro (production) date. In 1977 the only car equipped with 7s was a 930. By the 80's you could get them on any Carrera. The value of the 77 wheel is to someone who owns an actual 930 that doesn't have the right wheels and wants to make the car as delivered from the factory. To the concours and restoration crowd it would be a sin to put an 80s wheel on a 70s 930. To you or me it would make no difference.

Absolutely, earlier years trump later SC and Carrera wheels. The earlier the wheel, more $$, generally.
