^^^ He could have gone that route. The interior is definitely original.
But after the body work and primer was applied to areas it's no longer original exterior. There goes $50k of value for $5k worth of work.

$53k body work or $73k body work? You decide

Don't know about anyone else ...

but either way, the price for this makes me laugh.

^^^ Odometer roll back? I have a hard time believing 18,000 miles. Drivers seat and shifter look more like 58,000 miles.
Either way $110k is silly.

Carfax says it was stolen back in the 90's. It also says it only moved 1000 miles in the last 13 years.

Looking at the interior I agree, its got more miles than the odo says. Even if it were only 18k miles its not anywhere near a $110k car.

What am I missing here? Would you even pay 15k for a complete targa with fire damage?

1979 Porsche 911 SC

At what price is it worth it just to get the engine?
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2106570

Ps. Check out that receipt/affidavit. That’s an original Powerhaus build. Ancient.

1975 Porsche 911S $77,000

Neat car but $80k for a middie? I imagine the thread will still be bumped throughout 2019.

I keep seeing a 74 version of the same car for sale near me for $20k too. I haven't seen it in a while so it my have finally sold. I was sometimes tempted to buy it for the parts alone. If it were not a Targa/Cab conversion it would be setting in my back lot as a future project. I could rock a Hot Rod Slant.
