This car is probably on a consignment and for the seller, the vehicle still holds a strong sentimental value. So it's one of those things where you want to sell, but having a hard time of letting it go.. So pumping up the price justifies the feelings. Just a guess though..

A person who dreams $125,000.00 for a cab should have ambitions to pay a photographer $300.00- $400.00 for a fairy tail shoot and possibly a walk around video.

If the car is on consignment, it is in wrong hands

"Car is ready for concourse..................."

That must be why all the photos are in front of buildings?

conĚcourse
ˈkńnˌk˘rs/Submit
noun
1.
a large open area inside or in front of a public building, as in an airport or train station.
"the domestic arrivals concourse"

This all makes sense now.... thats why there are always so many vehicles waiting at the airport arrival concourse.

This guy deserves to be in this thread for the silly decimal point price and for posting an ad without location and without pictures for a car that could be very interesting

But wait, there's more......

I couldn't figure out how the donor was '72 since it's a cab. The VIN decodes as a '72 Targa. So how well does a Targa chassis perform with the hoop cut off?

This might look like a stretch today, however I bet it will look realistic in 2-3 years.
914's are really cheap today IMHO. There aren't that many good ones left. You see lots of rust free 911's for sale. Not many rust free 914's.

Really Matt? Don't you own one of these?
Wouldn't it be a better buy than a $30k 2.0?

Don't laugh, a friend owns a very nice limited edition, and turned down a LEGITIMATE offer of $40K for it..
