Hi Mick-

Honestly, this isnt making fun of the people. I have owned a couple of widebody conversions with smaller motors (sheepers) that I loved. I just didnt put a turbo badge on the back.

I've also owned very powerful cars (930's, 928 GTS etc). I have a 912 right now that is a great fun car. Do I get ragged on for it, yes, but would the raggers take a SWB 912 if you gave them one, hell yeah.....

This stuff is all in good fun.

Interactions like this are a really poor reflection, and I am not being hypocritical here. MY opinion on how this reflects on Pelican is as valid as YOURS is. Mine's just more correct.
( throwing your attitude right back at you )
Keep it, I'm out.

I just don't think the sheeper threads have much to do with market value. At least put them all in one thread together instead of a new "look at this better one I found" thread every time one comes to market.

The bickering is also getting tiresome.

Well, you could say that about a lot of the threads. It would be useful to combine like comparisons in general.

And yes, the back and forth crap is ruining multiple discussions.

I though that comment was really funny until I read further and saw that the comment was serious

I'll ignore the rest and chuckle all day with the way I first read it stuck in my head

What's really funny about Eric's comment is he usually sees "people" in everything his eyes gaze (ha ha ha) upon; even barnyards!!!

1974 wide body $27,500 Philadelphia

Is it me, or are these cars coming out of the woodwork?

This one actually looks pretty good, for what it is.

All the gauges are working except the tachometer.
Wonder if it doesn't work because it is a 4cyl tach?

It featured a 2.7l flat 6 engine from a 1982 911 that was rebuilt in 2004 by Motor Meister Inc in California
As soon as he stated that it was a MM rebuild it went to a negative value.

It also has a 925/02 4 speed Sportomatic transmission from a 1973 or 1974 Porsche 911 It has a great gear ratio that really gets you going
Since Porsche did offer a Sporto in 76, if it was a 912E with a sporto, it was truly a rare bird. If it wasn't, that was a hell of a lot of work to do.

The tires and wheels are in great condition with about 95% remaining. They are monsters with the rears being Yokohama AV1 345/35/zr15 and the fronts Centennial Interceptor 225/50/r15.
Wonder how old those tires are and those Pep Boys wheels, speechless.

The dashboard needs to be cleaned or updated as do the gauges
Guess he doesn't know the 76 style gauges didn't change until the 89 964.

Sooper-sheeper and Rusty!

72 911T Coupe & 69 912 Coupe - 2 Car Package

The 911 seems OK. That 912 isn't far from a parts car.

I'm trying to figure out which one of those cars belongs to Mick. Anybody who gets so frosted over something so silly has got to have a horse in the race.
