Looks like a 68 I passed on ten years ago. Can’t believe how many slope cab conversions got done back then.

Yep. Tons of Beetles, 912s and early 911s got this treatment.

appreciate you deez. watched a ton of video over the last couple weeks to pick up things that served me well this weekend as you note above. I credit my pops, who was along in his 08, non lifted street tire equipped jeep everywhere we went this weekend at 72 for putting my on a dirt bike at 5 nurturing my trail sense. I'm confident had I not raced dirtbikes i would have never adjusted to car racing and enjoyed it like i did, nor my new passion of jeeping. I,,,, err we loved it and will be doing much much more of it in the near future.

I'm aware enough to know we were more lucky than good this weekend, but why not both in the future?

going with an ARB locker in the front and regear from the 3.73 OE gears to a 4.56 set both front & rear in this first effort. going to meet with the installer this weekend. the thing is a 5 speed and i rarely even see 4th so i dropping down a ton, but will be well served with 33" tires.

the kicker? my pops who poo-poo'd me buying a lifted jeep is now recruited me to help install his new 2"lift for his 33" tire and wheel package from tire rack. slipper slope!

https://houston.craigslist.org/cto/d/very-low-miles-huge-price/6516676829.html

1971 911T with a Strosek kit. "77,977 original miles" (sure, pal.)

Only $39,000! What a bargain!

And.....its a salvage title.

Honestly, who does things like this?

That car struck me as a sheeper done up to look like a performance car.
Not so much outlaw than mother in law.
