Good Deals - Well Bought

Post any good deals you see out there or any recent well bought Porsches.

This popped up on RL today and seems priced very fairly if your in the market for a 3.2 Carrera Targa. Bodymotion is reputable shop.

Wonderful thread. I wish there was a way to block flippers from reading it.

I grabbed a 993 for a personal car recently, it's rough but it cranked up and drove, $5000. The tree growing through it was no charge.

It's going to be my new autocross car. Give the Roadster a break, and I think I might have popped the motor in the 914 at the last outing.

So did the guy know the value of that 993 (in the engine alone)?

He was a friend of mine and was happy to see it go to a new home. Also, I'm estimating $10,000+ to get it back up to snuff, and it has previous salvage history so it will never be a 100 point car. All that factored into the good price.

Yeah, it helps to have friends in this business, much of what I buy comes from friends.

$55K.

It was a good deal, but there are decent cars in that price range if you look hard enough...

Oh, by the way people were talking I thought it was way less than that. I agree, if you look you'll find another car in this price range. Now if it were $25K...
