Like 356 operators, those boyz are accustomed to speeds less than 30mph, so maybe at 31 (I heard there was a strong tailwind that day) the driver panicked and lost control, or maybe ditched the car intentionally thinking that death was near?!?!

The loss of control must be from those Wheel Barrow tires the 912 is known for. It's surly isn't from the acceleration. Just ask Christian.
