Looks like numbers are sliding back as opposed to rising... that is for cars attainable by most.

True, but I think the run-up is over. The primo cars are still bringing the money but many of the cars that "rose with the tide" are not bring what they were or not selling. And then of course there are the anomalies as discussed in Barrett Jackson thread.

Glad to see the 918's sputter out. That car was the beginning of the end for the Porsche customer experience.
