1969 Porsche 911SC

At the Leake auction in OKC yesterday, a 1969 911SC ..converted.. sold for 20,250.00. Would this be a fair price or considered a bargain for someone?

Fair price? must likely.
Bastardized cars that are nether what they once were, a 69 911 or what they were converted into looking like, the much less valuable 911SC are hard to value and find buyers for.
If some one wanted a 911SC why not buy a real one? it would not take much more to buy the real thing.
If some one wanted a 69 911 it would take huge money to make this car look and feel like a 69 911 again.
So this car falls in to the 'neither world of lost souls' Seller I would think should be happy with $20,250

I can't believe someone actually purchased it never mind for such huge money.

There are so many ??? about what was done especially to make a 69 a cab. No doubt a lot of money spent but it is a bastardization.

There are sellers asking more money for worse cars. Sure you are going to need all new front body panels and the Targa parts to put it back.
But how is that any different from a complete floor pan, new interior and chassis rebuild. Given the choice I would put this car back to a long hood before the other options.

We picked up a couple of tubs needing work and have all original parts for less. At this point work is work.
