Insurance?

Just titled my 911SC and am looking over the different insurance companies available for antique plates. Anybody have reviews or dealings with some of the more popular companies. Of course opinions only, I'm looking at Chubb, Leland West and Hagerty. All come in close to the same premiums. If this is out of bounds I understand.

I've been with Grundy for several years. Never had a claim other than a stone chip in the windshield, they're easy to deal with and the rates are quite a bit less than Hagerty. Get a discount for a historic or year of manufacture plates.

+1 for Grundy. My agent works with Grundy and Hagerty. Grundy was much better deal. $50k agreed value on my 87 cab for low $600s/year. No mileage restrictions, no deductible, etc. Never had a claim to speak about their service, but very easy to work with raising the value over the last few years.

I'm using Collectors, good pricing, but very restrictive on use.

It really depends what you want to use it for.

Grundy here too. 60k agreed value for my 993. Much cheaper than collector and Haggerty. After contacting many companies, Grundy's pricing beats the rest by a very large margin.

Give Heacock Classic a look. I checked them all last August and found them to be the least restricting and very competitive.
