hey pmax, why the line in the sand?

can't a guy own a porsche related business AND also be an enthusiast?

it obviously benefits his business to be a part of this and other communities, but i don't see why he can't be both self promoting (something every small business owner has do to some degree, he just happens to be in the porsche business) and a conscious enthusiast.

there are a lot of guys who come on this board only to promote themselves and their business. never got that vibe from adam. if anything, he just comes across as a real passionate all around porsche guy. and maybe a little loose with the selfies.

at the end of the day, he is valuable resource to the board because of his experience. dude knows a lot, and shares pretty easily.

not sure what your beef is...

Adam will have to draw that line himself as to where the business ends and the enthusiast begins.

I won't even attempt to make a point having been accused of stalking Unobtanium-inc earlier in this thread.

A difference in opinion, we will simply agree to disagree here.

The new column is up, when a parts car is no longer a parts car.

The latest story is a cautionary tale, but a good read.

Hey Adam, Happy New Year and thanks for sharing this. I hope the well-written story with your facts and figures put all the naysayers to rest. You put a lot of time, work, and your own hard-earned money into this car - as you have said and as I have suspected it was not cheap to get it where it is.

Lots of wisdom in this article - and that is, even if you buy low, a good Porsche does not come cheap.
