Looking into purchasing this 78sc coupe but I haven’t been able to find any records online and the title is not present.

1978, SC US 49 State. Early in the run "0290" out of "2436". The matching engine type should be 930/04

there was/is a guy in the UK that keeps an SC registry that was pretty popular around here at one time. it was a voluntary deal but the last time I looked in there were a few hundred cars listed. I do not have the link any longer though
 .. I think it was a dudes name in the name of the site. last time I looked in my old car was still the second oldest car documented there. I had 8200049, 49th couple with a motor number xxx82, meaning the 82nd 3.ol motor manufactured that was a real peach. then I cut it up to make a spec racer out of it, spent thousands of dollars devaluing it and would not change a thing.
