Is this really the 914 market?

For a big bumper 4 banger?

That’s nuts. Though I guess you’re paying for the restoration work and getting the car for free. Lol. When you can still buy a 930 for that kind of money, why would anyone buy one of these instead? I guess some would and might, but that’s more a rhetorical question to me, as I’d never consider it.

Funny because I almost said that about a 930 in my post. I would totally buy a mid 80's 930 driver over this car.

Matt, I think of everything in terms of would I rather being spending this or that money on another 930 instead. My 930 addiction is getting a little out of control! LMAO. I’m closing on another one this week, or so I plan to anyways. But I hit a road block in terms of expectations regarding the PPI, maybe you can opine on this issue for me (hijacking your own thread). When you PPI a 930 do you require a visual confirmation that there are no broken head studs? Cause the mechanic I used did not check (930 is already back at selling dealer), while my own mechanic says it is mandatory, as the car can drive perfectly fine without revealing a broken head stud. Since this can lead to a big repair expense, I’m a bit apprehensive at the moment as I tend to defer to my own mechanic. I’m not hands on, so I need another opinion on this...Thoughts?

Apparently some bay sellers do not intend to sell on eBay. They just put a ridiculously high buy now number and enough clues in their ad to lead you to their non eBay sales site.

I wonder if this is what is happening here?
Leveraging the eBay search engine for marketing?
