2011 Panamera 4S

About 2 years ago, I sold my 1983 SC Cab after about 15 years of ownership and fantastic memories. In its place, I bought a 2011 Panamera 4S. This car is badass! It does not have the same grit and menace of my 911, but it is plenty fast and comfortable. I recently had the rims powder coated to match the car. What do you think?

Love it! The right wheels and stance do wonders for the look of a Panamera. We have three kids, when the oldest goes to college in four years the wife is getting a Panamera for our new family car.

That's a beautiful car. How's the maintenance and reliability?

The stance looks great.

How many miles have you put on it in 2 years and what has it needed for repairs?

Pics of interior?

The Panamera looks great. However, I just grew up in the wrong era. Black wheels just look like you lost your hub caps to me.

It is your car, and a cool one. Personally I don't like black wheels, but it is your car not mine, and I am a grumpy old man. Get off my lawn!

I rode in a 2018 Panamera 4S Hybrid model at a local race track Hallett a few months ago. The driver was a PCNA professional driver and instructor. We had three passengers and he was hauling ass around the track. Likely lots faster that my ancient 1985 911 could go. It was very impressive. A car that big was just flying.

Most important thing, drive your car and enjoy it and personalize it in whatever way makes you happy.

You may rethink that once all your kids are on your insurance policy. Ask me how I know...

I'm not one for dark (black) rims either.
Lots of them around Scottsdale and I'm beginning to like the looks of them.
One pulled next to me at a stop light...it's a big car.
.
I like the color of yours.

LOL looks like us old guys like shiny rims

I've never even sat in a Panamera, but after seeing yours I'm tempted to do something about that.

22 inch gold plate is the only way to go!

I also love the Panamera... my bank account... not so much, probably not the best choice of a vehicle heading into my retirement.

Found myself admiring a Macan the other day...

Place my wife used to work one of the salesmen had a Panamera... wrapped in flat black

Nice looking! I've never driven a Panamera but I understand they're like a big sports car which the Cayenne is not.

I really enjoy my 2011 Cayenne Turbo and yes I got the cam chain adjuster bolts replaced under recall a few months ago. I also got my wheels painted but it was mainly so I could go longer between washings.

Sure the newer 4 door Porsches don't have the raw feel of an old 911, but a nice used modern Porsche is much more pleasant to drive than most new cars. Mine replaced my Silverado pickup and the few times I've towed with it have been uneventful.
