Putting "feelers" out to sell 04 r1100s
I'm considering selling my 2004 r11s with just over 18k miles
- All recent services completed including brakes, bike runs and works as it should - Upgraded SS brake lines - Upgraded chain tensioner - Tires from 2015 in very good shape - Sargeant Seat - never down, garage kept with bags - sides and tank bag - locateds in chicago suburbs - Will consider offers around $4000 ![]() |

Hi Larry, folks are going to ask if it's the sport version and if it has ABS. And 6 year old tires? Those need to be changed.

Not the sports version, standard suspension
Yes, tires are 6 years old but do not show excessive wear, would recommend changing ABS is fully functional, had dealer tested 2 years ago when I wanted to get brake/clutch fluid changed If $4000 is too much, what is fair market price right now? |

I think you are pretty much dead on with the price. It has low miles and is in nice shape. The saddlebags definitely help too.
As we approach spring, people get themselves out of holiday debt and start to receive tax refunds, I see no reason you won't be able get $4k if you are patient. Last edited by maverickma; 01-17-2021 at 06:43 AM.. |

Price is pretty much spot on. Maybe even considered a deal given bags and mileage. New tires are a nice "perk" but they don't add any value to the bike so you're better off selling as is. If new tires are deal-breaker the person is too picky to deal with anyway.
