WTB - Short Paralever Arm
Hi all,
The subject line says it all. I am 6'2" and feel the bike is a little low for me. I heard a shorter arm will increase the height? Hugs and Kisses, -X-Triple ![]()

A recent post says it'll raise the rear about 10mm. I think it could be a bit more, maybe 1". It'll quicken the steering a little with a little decrease in stability (with plenty to spare). The shorter arm that came with the BCRs and the preps is the same one that comes on the GS. It's $80 at the dealer.

I tried to order that same part this week through Secondwind. They were quoting closer to $100.
Anyway, if you end up getting it - I'm curious to know what you think of it... |

I have the shorter arm on my 2001 and also the stock center stand. Works fine, although both wheels are still slightly on the ground. To change tires I have to put a piece of wood under the center stand and then use a bottle jack under the engine to get the front wheel off the ground.

Sorry dude. Totally forgot. Here she is.
There's one small scratch that you can see here: and a scuff shown here: ![]() Otherwise, she's pretty clean. I never installed it, but I guess it's slightly used. I bought it off someone else. ![]() |

Hi Scott,
Looks good. Can I install this with normal shocks on my bike? Best, -Paul
