I live in NH and just bought the exact same bike way out in Indiana. Timing is everything. You are right about the head turning. I never got so much attention with my black r1100s.
I am going through the Ohlin upgrade now but, other than that, the bikes are identical. Mine had a Techlusion on it which I have since ripped out and replaced it with a adjustable chip (through the cat plug). This was needed becuase of the massive air duct mod (San Jose BMW) and the Z-Technik exhaust. The bike runs much better now. Just wondering where you got the center stand. I really miss the center stand on my black r1100s Your shop stand looks ideal. I will send anyone interested your way. You have it priced reasonably.
