98 Saab
Saab blew head gasket. Shop says it is .016 out and warped (twisted) so cannot, or will not mill head, saying cam journals will be affected. Can the head be "heat straightened"? What can I do other than buy another engine?

Can't you buy a new head? There is a specialty SAAB parting outfit somewhere I think, should be a lot cheaper than an entire engine.
