Exhaust flex pipe relacement

Today I replaced both of the flex pipes on my 96 900s convertible.

The one on the down pipe / cat pipe is 2 1/4" x 4" and the one in the intermediate pipe is 2 1/4" x 8".

I would suggest doing both as I only ordered the down pipe one as I knew it was blown but when I removed the section ( I removed the down pipe and intermediate together as the jointing clamp between them was very rusty and the one at the rear was new) I found that the other one was holed as well. Just could not hear it as the first one was completely split.

Anyway if you have access to a welder this is a very easy job just make sure you mark a center line to re-align the sections and its child's play.

For less than $40 she is quiet again and idling smoother.
