5 Speed Transmission Fluid Types
 

I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 convertible with a 5 speed and have noticed people are running everything in them from Saab branded fluid to motor oil to Redline fluid to ATF. I noticed here on Pelican they suggest an ATF. Has anyone tried the ATF and if so have they had good luck? I would like to make the right choice but it makes it difficult when the dealer support is basically gone. Thanks for the help!
