Howdy folks,

Noticed an electrical gremlin when I took the car (with new fuel lines) on a test drive today.

When I turn on a blinker (left or right), the indicator on the tach may flash left...

Thanks for the responses, guys. What's the appropriate connection between the fuel line and the pump? (Not the one that goes to the filter, but the other one -- is that the return line?) Is 30R9 all...

Replacing original plastic fuel lines with stainless

Hi all,

It's time to replace the plastic fuel lines in the tunnel -- one broke today and I narrowly averted catastrophe. I've got a couple of questions before I dive headlong into this, though....

Thanks for that lead, George. The Hagerty tool valued my car at $5800. (I rated it's condition a 4, which I think fairly describes the car.)

Hi all - thanks a bunch for your feedback. I think you're all right on the money, no pun intended. I had been thinking the car might be worth $5K, maybe $6K on a good day. I have a buyer interested...

If you're interested in throwing out a value, here's a little more info:

The engine was rebuilt in 2001 and has about 18,000 miles on the build. Converted to hydraulic lifters at that time. It has...

Hi all -- been a while since I posted, but I'm still a happy 914 owner. Unfortunately it may be time to sell my car. I'm trying to determine the value of the vehicle, but I find it to be difficult...

Yes, it seems to be louder on the driver's side. And because it's a rhythmic tick, it seems like it must be right at the head. I think if the leak was farther down the exhaust line, it would be...

Possible exhaust tick, or worse?

Hi all,

Started up my 1.7l 914 today after a couple weeks of nonuse. It had the familiar valve ticking for the first few seconds which subsided once the valves got lubed up. But then there was...
