Ah. Good idea. I sloshed some acetone around and got most out- it was hot tanked so pretty clean already but I think the more I can clean it the better.

... the other part of your question, I use Brad Penn 20-50 and a Mahle filter. There is so much oil in these that the oil still looks new...
