1) dont throw away rear brake calipers.
2) the ebrake will eventually sieze up on you... dont use it if you dont...

pressing bearings

Another very simple way to press bearings (of all types) that people tend to forget...


1) freeze bearing set for many hours.
2) heat hub with simple torch. Get it pretty toasty but not hot...

you're right there.

local dealer pretty much said they wont stock 914 items... not even standard tune up items. They always refer me to AA...

I just need to plan ahead a little better :)
