For my 3.0L from the SC it was cam timing and trying to figure out WTH I was taking a picture of...:confused:

Make sure you have GOOD pictures, not just pictures. ;)

Changed out pulley today. Small squeak on start...

Changed out pulley today. Small squeak on start up then gone. I'm thinking belt seating. No squeak on subsequent starts. Thank you.

Angry Alternator pulley going?

Got a squeak on start up. I took out the air cleaner and sprayed WD-40 on the tensioner pulley. Nothing. Sprayed it on the alternator pully and squeak went away. Does this sound ok or do I need to...

Good luck with your search. I had an '81 SC for 12 years. I did many things to it up to an engine rebuild, most of them facilitated by this board. You can start on small stuff and build your repair...

No but I took mine to my wrench for a headlight...

No but I took mine to my wrench for a headlight problem and they cleaned all the fuses and fuse holders..DOH...they worked. Just a suggestion.
