Not only do the holes not line up, but the opening for the lower mount is smaller on the turbo cars and late NAs. You would have to shave down the spindle.

Take the belly pan off. It's just a cover and you need to find the area where the leak is coming from. Could be a hose, but could also be coming from the water pump.
