I haven't done it; I know several who have and GoPro seems to be the ubiquitous choice of gear. I've seen a variety of mounts but most are either helmet or handlebar mount.

I've considered that but am "conflicted" on the law. This isn't my daily driver by any means, but does get driven outside the usage restrictions for special purpose plates.

Harbor Freight has a set of metric "service wrenches" that work OK for this. The handles are short but you can slip a piece of pipe over them for extra leverage.
