The contact switch plug is green and located in the front of the AFM where you can't see it. Reach around the left side of the engine and you can feel it. Not to be confused with the cold start plug...

I have 4 in the shop and 2 in the house I just bought. Check that the anchor bolt nuts are tight, eyeball the cables and lube the rollers occasionally. No issues in 25 years.
