Interesting. How much difference did it make on the dyno? I haven't seen any good articles for sequential EFI where changing the injection timing has any impact on power. I wonder if MFI is different.

A flaky injector could easily be affected by heat which would help explain the 2 minute issue. One cylinder starts misfiring which then starts to throw other things off.

It can leave glass beads, especially in any sort of crevice/hole. It doesn't seem to get trapped in the pores of the metal as much but a good cleaning is definitely needed after vapour blasting.

901 105 362 01? It doesn't show in the 1970-1973 catalog, but it does in the '74+. I've already tapped the housing for 1/8" NPT plugs for easy servicing...

Wayne's book shows 34.0 to 36.0mm for all non turbo engines. Haynes doesn't have anything for <2.7L engines and I couldn't find anything in the factory manuals.
